Augmentative & Alternative Communication – Camp Communicare Aug. 20-24

Camp Communicare is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Camp

For a child who uses a speech-generating device (SGD), communicating with others can be very challenging. Many AAC users don’t know anyone else at their school with a device (“talker”). Camp Communicare at SJCC Kehillah is the place where using a different way to talk is the norm.

This camp is designed for non-speaking or severely speech impaired children who use augmentative communication (AAC) strategies and tools to communicate.

August 20 – 24th, 9 am – 1 pm.
