REEL Abilities Disabilities – “Shorts” Film Festival on January 30th

We are excited to be hosting a series of short films to correspond with the Boston Disability Film Festival, REELAbilities.  

Our event is FREE and will include light refreshments during intermission.   We are asking that everyone register at 739-4715 so that we can make sure we have enough seats and refreshments for all.

These short films are appropriate for all.

Please invite your family, caregivers, therapists, school team and anyone who is interested in seeing people with disabilities represented in film.

Here is our program for the evening:

Beautiful (17 minutes)
A look at how charm and charisma can challenge and change a stranger’s prejudices

Autism in Love (10 minutes)
A conversation about falling and staying in love because of who you are

The Conference (17 minutes)
A gathering of people with disabilities illustrates how events can evolve with comic results

Intermission

Among the Giants (23 minutes)
A New York City resident uses creative partnerships to develop lasting opportunities for others
